Samuel worked as a police officer, a grocer and a corn miller- information is from his sons birth certificate and from census returns 1841 to 1861. He was still working at age 79. I think he was baptised as Samuel BUNTING on the same day that his parents,Samuel Ward and Mary Bunting, were married - on 13.11.1809
